Bows for stringed instruments

Towards the end of the 18th century an independent bow makers industry began to develop in the Vogtland region, and on January 14, 1888, Germany's first bow makers guild was founded in Markneukirchen.
Experienced bow makers - in some cases working in the fifth generation of a family of bow makers - manufacture high-quality violin, viola, cello and bass bows.
