Wind instruments

The wind instruments industry is the second oldest branch of musical instrument manufacture in the Vogtland region. The first woodwind instruments were built around 1710, and in the mid-18th century the first brass instruments were built. Today, the Vogtland-based master workshops, usually family-operated businesses with many decades of tradition - produce high-grade soloist's instruments.
