Bow making

The development of independent bow making began at the end of the 18th century and Germany´s first bow maker´s guild was founded on 14 January 1888 in Markneukirchen.

Experienced bow makers, some of whom are in the fifth generation, carefully hand-craft violin, viola, cello and bass bows.
